Living etc
The Challenge
The magazine crew on Living etc are liable to feeling overworked, underprivileged and generally fed up with their lot. The stress of monthly magazine deadlines can lead to tensions and issues between departments. At times their focus was on the negative rather than the positive ie that they are working in an exciting industry, in the centre of London and for a trendy and highly regarded magazine. What we did
Re-energised and refocussed the editorial team.To remind them to appreciate each other's talents and skills, to encourage team spirit and also give them a personal boost of confidence and sense that the company is investing in them and values them.
Whilst Paul's talks are very different, they are very powerful. He has them (colleagues) thinking in a direction that probably no-one has had them thinking before. After an initial introduction to 500 of our managers, we asked Paul to work with the sales consultants in a number of our retail outlets with a brief to help them increase sales. Through a process of improving motivation and introducing coherent strategies, and combining this with pro-active behaviour, he achieved an increase in sales of 250% within 180 days with the target product.
